Malaysian Influencers Get a Taste of Premium European Products

As part of the Premium European Products (PEP) campaign in Malaysia, an exclusive media drop was delivered to selected Malaysian influencers, allowing them to discover a curated selection of premium food and beverage products from Greece and Latvia. The campaign is meant to make consumers aware of European products that are made through traditional methods and meet the quality standards of the European Union.

The carefully selected European products allow influencers to experience the outstanding flavor, quality, and product versatility right at home. It was not just about tasting the products, but discovering the story behind each one, finding out about its background, the process of production, and all the experience accumulated over the years has contributed to making this selection of products truly distinctive. It was also an opportunity to learn how these products can be incorporated into daily meals, adding special flavours and aromas.

Aside from their European background, the products also showed how easily they can be combined with Malaysian cuisine. Foods like the Greek extra virgin olive oil and table olives could be enjoyed with salads, grilled fish, roasted chicken, and other local cuisine, while foods such as Corinthian raisins and dried fruits from Latvia could be added to rice-based foods such as nasi minyak and briyani. Greek Graviera cheese could also be added to sandwiches, pastries, salads, and other fusion dishes in Malaysia.

Influencers shared their experiences on various social media networks such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. where they used unboxing videos, recipes, lifestyle posts, and product reviews to engage with their followers.

Through their promotion of Premium European Products from Greece and Latvia, the influencers introduced their followers to a selection of high-quality European food and beverage products, showcasing Europe’s rich culinary heritage, traditional production methods, and high EU quality standards. Their experiences with enjoying and incorporating these products into their daily lives also encouraged Malaysians to discover European flavors and the stories behind them.
