The K-Beauty Expo Malaysia & K Brand Week 2025, hosted by Gyeonggi-do and organised by KINTEX, will take place on 20–22 November 2025 at PWCC Penang, creating over 109 job opportunities for local Korean speakers. uBitto, a Penang-based edtech startup, has been appointed as the official hiring and training partner to recruit and prepare Korean-English interpreters for the event. This collaboration aims to empower Malaysian Korean speakers with international exposure while positioning Penang as a growing hub for global trade, education and multilingual talent.

Penang, Malaysia (3 Nov 2025) – The upcoming K-Beauty Expo Malaysia & K Brand Week 2025 happening on 20-22 November 2025, hosted by Gyeonggi-do and organised by KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center) at PWCC Penang, is set to welcome global exhibitors and visitors while creating more than 109 job opportunities for local Korean speakers.

Appointed as the official hiring and training partner, uBitto, a Penang-based edtech startup, is spearheading the recruitment of Korean-English interpreters to support exhibitors and buyers throughout the three-day international event.

This initiative opens short-term employment opportunities for Malaysians with Korean language skills, offering them international exposure and a chance to contribute to one of Korea’s largest trade exhibitions held outside its borders.

“By working with KINTEX, we’re not only helping international exhibitors connect with local and global buyers, but also empowering our local Korean-speaking community with real opportunities,” said Rohan Yoon, founder of uBitto.

“This collaboration highlights Penang’s multilingual advantage and strengthens its role as a gateway for global business.”

The synergy between PWCC’s world-class facilities, KINTEX’s global exhibition management expertise and uBitto’s local networks positions Penang as an emerging hub for international expos. This project also sets the stage for recurring employment opportunities for multilingual Malaysians, particularly in industries where Korea leads globally such as beauty, medical technology and advanced manufacturing.
